COMMUNITY ACTION
communities in action
Our citizens care about their children and are willing to do whatever it takes to help create a brighter future for all of them. Success By 6 Norman brings people and resources together to create lasting, positive change for our children, neighborhood-by-neighborhood. Success By 6 Norman is one of many Smart Start Oklahoma Communities addressing the most critical issues facing Oklahoma’s youngest citizens. These communities are charged with the task of developing a plan of action tailored to meet the needs of their families with young children. Success By 6 Norman believes that effective community collaboration will help foster the success of our children. And by working together in the following ways, we will ensure that needs are met and our children enter school eager to learn and ready to succeed:
- Engaging community leaders and concerned citizens
- Building business partnerships
- Providing parent and caregiver resources
- Collaborating with health care providers
- Coordinating services with community agencies
- Improving quality child care
